Hosted at the Orlando Museum of Art, this fun and undeniably illuminated festival is fun for everyone. A stroll through this event sponsored by the Council of 101 gives guests a chance to enjoy everything from decorated wreaths to designer trees. There are even holiday décor vendors on-site as well as spaces dedicated to the art of crafting unbelievable gingerbread houses. From live entertainment to visits from Santa, the Festival of Trees has something for everyone to enjoy.
Make the Most of Dazzling Nights at Harry P. Leu Gardens
Time enjoyed at the Harry P. Leu Gardens promises to be a highlight of an Orlando getaway no matter what time of year you enjoy this city. That said, the fact that the gardens are draped in dazzling lights during the holidays only makes the experience that much more memorable. Guests arriving to the gardens for this event will be greeted by a spectacular and ornamental Christmas tree at the entrance. From here, visitors can make their way through a forest of fog and dazzling lights complete with tunnels and bridges to traverse along the way. There’s a musical soundtrack to set the holiday scene as well. The gardens are located at 1920 N. Forest Avenue in Orlando and the event runs from December 1, 2021, through January 3, 2022. Swing by any time between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Entry is $22 per person but the dazzling is free of charge.
Check Out the Now Snowing Celebration
Orlando, Florida may not be infamous for getting ton of snow each and every holiday season, but that doesn’t mean there’s no reason to celebrate! The town of nearby Celebration is a great place to indulge in a “snowy” moment thanks to machine-made snow that covers the ground during this time of year. The Now Snowing Celebration is hosted November 27th through December 31st nightly between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the Celebration town center. When the fake snow starts falling, kids are invited to play as holiday music blasts from the surrounding speakers. Visitors to this event can enjoy on-site ice skating, holiday light observing, or even a chance to jump in a horse-drawn carriage and roll around town in Cinderella style. It’s a fun for all event that you won’t want to miss out on while you’re here.
Enjoy Cirque: Spirit of Christmas
The holidays are a great time of year to enjoy world-class performances and entertainment of all types. If your holiday plans bring you to Orlando, be sure to make time to enjoy Cirque: Spirit of Christmas. This 25-mnute interactive show comes complete with colorful costumes, music, and showmanship that’s hard to top! The performance is hosted at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center located at 6000 W. Osceola Parkway in Kissimmee. It runs from November 19, 2021, through January 2, 2022. Show times are 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm Monday through Friday as well as 1:00 pm, 6:30 pm, and 8:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Make Time for the Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree Show
Lake Eola is an iconic landmark of downtown Orlando and a great place to find yourself over the holidays too. The Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree Show runs from November 30th through January 5th on the hour between 5:45 pm and 9:45 pm daily. The event is free to enjoy and offers visitors a chance to admire the 72-foot Christmas tree as it comes to life on the banks of Lake Eola each night. The performance includes light, music, and tons of fun for everyone. Be sure to put it on the top of the holiday itinerary. This is one of the best things to do in Orlando during Christmas!
