Hosted on select nights starting September 8, 2023, Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando is a fan-favorite event that’s highly anticipated once again this year!  The event runs through October 31st and invites guests to head over to SeaWorld for all of the traditional theme park fun as well as added spooks and thrills. The park will be brimming over with haunted houses to check out as well as scare zones and live shows to enjoy. This is an adult-focused event with fake gore included, so you’ll want to leave the little ones at home for this one.  Tickets begin at $32.99 for single-night access.

If you are heading to SeaWorld Orlando with little ones in tow and they want to get in on the Halloween fun as well, you can participate in the SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular which is designed for kids of all ages to enjoy at SeaWorld! This event runs on weekends from September 16th through October 31st and is included in the cost of a general admission ticket. There will be plenty of delicious Halloween-themed food and beverages on hand across the park with this year’s theme revolving around “Fantasea.”

Participate in Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando

On select nights between September 3rd and October 31st, Universal will host its annual Halloween Horror Nights event. This teen and up experience gives visitors a chance to wander through a collection of haunted houses that are designed to thrill and chill! The fun begins when the sun goes down and the haunted houses come to life inspired by some of the most haunting cinematic projects in film history. In its 30th year, Halloween Horror Nights 2021 will include haunted houses themed around Beetlejuice, Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Haunting of Hill House, The Bride of Frankenstein Lives, Horror in the Heartlands, Legendary Truth, Realm of the Pumpkin, Revenge of the Tooth Fairy, Case Files Unearthed and more!

As you make your way between haunted houses, visitors will be met by nightmarish creatures wandering the street. You can also stop along the way and enjoy some live entertainment amongst the many attractions. Keep your eyes peeled specifically for Jack the Clown who has a way of showing up unannounced during the festivities. This event is not recommended for anyone under the age of 13 and it’s important to note that masks and costumes are prohibited for guests.

Scream n’ Stream

Enjoy your Halloween adventures in Orlando from the comfort of your car by planning to attend Scream n’ Stream anytime between September 17th and October 21st. This drive-thru haunted attraction is one-of-a-kind and returns for its second year in Orlando in 2021. As you roll through, you’ll find yourself immersed in a world of gore and terror. The event is designed by Patrick Braillard who is credited as the mind and design expert behind Halloween Horror Nights as well. Driving through the event takes about 25 minutes, and this year you’ll be making your way through a secret research compound known as Station 5. Within, you’ll encounter some gruesome and fearsome creatures ranging from zombies to sinister clowns. Passengers are given laser guns to keep enemy creatures at bay while making their way through.
