If you’re looking for a break that includes sun and warmth this winter, make sure Florida is on your radar. Once you’ve zeroed in on the Sunshine State, you’ll need to figure out just where you want to be. Orlando and the surrounding area offer plenty of fun, rest, relaxation, and magic in one location, no matter what time of year. When you book at Reunion Resort, you’ll have access to all of its resort amenities, including 10 community Reunion Resort pools, splash pads, and a 5-acre private water park.
Reunion Resort Water Park
There are water parks around the Orlando area that welcome thousands of visitors a day. Those visitors are paying extra money on top of their other vacation costs, while staying at Reunion Resort gives you free access to an amazing private water park. Young children – and their adult caregivers – will love splashing around at the kids-only section complete with tipping water bucket, slides, water cannons, and other water toys in the zero-depth entry and shallow water pool. Twist and turn down water slides or lay back and float through the lazy river. Play a game of water volleyball or dry off and enjoy land games like ladder ball, ping pong, billiards, giant chess, and more. There is plenty of water fun to be had. Hours vary by season.
Sandy Ridge Splash Pad/Villas North
Located close to the water park, Villas North at Sandy Ridge has plenty of fun, sun, and water. It features twisting tube slides, water buckets, slides, and plenty of space to float and swim in the shallow depths. Walk through the spray tunnel, let the water lap over you as the kids play, or stretch out on an adjustable chaise lounge. The area is open daily from dawn to dusk year-round.
The Cove at Seven Eagles
Situated behind the 11-story Grande building, this is the largest community pool in the resort. Enjoy a relaxing swim, grab a bite to eat, and lounge the day away. The heated pool and two hot tubs keep you comfortable if there’s a chill in the air. Order a drink or a bite to eat from The Cove’s poolside eatery so you can stay and play all day. When you need a break from the water, there are umbrella tables and adjustable chaise lounges where you can relax and soak up the sun. The pool is open from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily year-round. No towels provided on-site, please bring your own.
Heritage Crossing North
Relax in the pool or hot tub and watch the activity of the rolling fairways and greens of the Arnold Palmer Legacy golf course. The resort-style pool area has something for everyone, including a kiddie pool for our littlest guests. There are plenty of adjustable chaise lounges to soak up the sun when you need a break from the water. Located conveniently next to building S, the pool is open from dawn to dusk year-round.
Heritage Crossing South
The pool was made for a lazy day, both in and out of water. Sit on one of the underwater benches and get wet without going under. If you need a little relaxation after a long Orlando day, the extra-large hot tub has plenty of room for you to relax and rejuvenate. The pool is located next to building C and is open daily from dawn to dusk year-round.
Centre Court Ridge
Splash in the water or get wet under one of the arching spray fountains, relax tired muscles in the hot tub, or lay out on a chaise lounge with a book and soak up the Orlando sun. Located on the 12th tee of the Tom Watson Independence Golf Course, you’ll take in pristine views of the course from the deck. The pool is open daily from dawn to dusk year-round.
Splash around next to the Independence Golf Course by Tom Watson. The community pool boasts a beautiful resort-style pool and spa in the gated community of Carriage Pointe. The pool is open daily from dawn to dusk year-round.
Make your way to Cabana Court, where you’ll also find the Villas South pool. You’ll be treated to a day of Zen by the water as you enjoy the resort-style community pool. Grab some shade under a cabana or stake your claim under an umbrella or sunbathe on a chaise lounge surrounding the pool and spa.
Also known as the Gathering Drive Pool, the waters here are ideal for families with young children. There’s a large pool for the whole family to enjoy, a kiddie pool for our youngest visitors, and a relaxing hot tub for adult relaxation at the end of an exciting Orlando day. The pool is open from dawn to dusk year-round.
Keep up with your exercise routine at the four-lane lap pool. Located near the Arnold Palmer Legacy Golf Course, the pool at The Terraces is a great place for swimming, exercise, or relaxation. Gather at the BBQ grill and picnic area that features two covered gazebos. Rest in an adjustable chaise lounge or show the kids the unique-shaped fountain on the bricked patio. The pool is open from dawn to dusk year-round.
